Botride
About

Fare collection, headed somewhere better.

Most matatu fares are already paid by M-Pesa. What hasn't caught up is everything around that payment — the conductor squinting at a phone, fares argued over by the stage, no record an owner can trust.

Botride closes that gap. It organises fares around the payments people already make, so the crew sees who has paid and every trip leaves a clean record — all on the phones already in the vehicle, with no new hardware.

We're building it in steps, on real routes. Today it helps the crew. Over time, more of the collecting happens on its own — moving towards fare collection that takes care of itself.

Where we are

Botride is an early product, built and tested on real matatu payments. If you run a vehicle, a fleet, or a SACCO and want to be part of the early routes, we'd like to hear from you.

Botride is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
